Brazilian demonstrated against hold of 2014 World Cup
According to the AFP news on February 23, mass demonstrations against the government's hosting the 2014 World Cup erupted in Sao Paulo, Brazil. The World Cup matches will be held in Brazilian on June 12, 2014, and the Brazilian government invest at least $11 billion for the preparations for the games. however, the move has sparked discontent.On February 22, thousands of people launch the demonstration in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
Local policeman had conflicts with the demonstrators after some demonstrators tried to lay roadblocks.The police used tear gas and other non-lethal weapons to disperse demonstrators, and arrested 120 protesters.Conflict eventually lead to the injury of four demonstrators and two police officers.
